Modelling & Materials

3D modelling is where raw spatial ideas are quickly blocked out, refined, and translated into clean 3D geometry.

In the fast-paced environment of a live site, SketchUp allows me to rapidly model custom architectural details, structural elements, or bespoke joinery on the fly. It serves as the agile starting point where I can precisely map out scale and proportions before pushing the data into the Epic real-time visualization ecosystem.

For HNWIs and executive teams, the use of SketchUp for 3D modelling and material mapping means I can test complex design changes in hours rather than days. If an interior layout needs adjustment to accommodate a newly selected piece of furniture, or if an external feature needs to be scaled down to protect a sightline, I model it in SketchUp first. This allows me to apply accurate texture maps and material scales immediately, giving the project team an instant, accurate sense of volume and texture. It acts as the rapid-prototyping phase of the workflow, ensuring that every spatial adjustment is functionally viable and aesthetically sound before it progresses further.
